Shoes

It’s the skateboarding hall of fame I believe so I suppose the City Stars board is just for him and the rest is random skate history relating to other pros, but I could completely wrong as I’ve not paid much attention to all that.

Axion just need to release all the old classics to the standard of the Genesis and then they can go again.

I’m sure they won’t since the people involved seem to know absolutely fuck all about skateboarding in general, let alone what the first couple of years of Axion were all about.

Longboards and handplants just aren’t what comes to my mind when I think of Axion.

Slightly better shot of the Nutek’s here:

Fucking hell these axion look terrible

Thought it might be because he had size 14s but no, they’re a uk9

That toecap

Reminds me of this

Which shoe has the perfect toecap?

I hate when it looks like it squishes your toes and also when it’s too big like that.

Dunks have it pretty spot on.

Most adi as well. That looks like a work boot.

Yeah adi gets proportions right, just sizing wrong haha.

Vans halfcabs look like they hurt your feet.

I agree on the dunks for sure, when it comes to skating my favorite has been the sb team classics they aren’t all that durable but the toe box was on point every time

I’m skating some halfcabs now, no pain so far, but the other day I noticed when I tied my laces tighter it started to create a pinch point that did hurt but I may have stretched them I didn’t notice it in this morning’s session

Which team classic are you on about? OG Team Edition, Team Edition mk2, or the Classic (like the tennis shoe)?

Dunk toes can go a bit flat.

Yeah once worn.

You wore them in a Death part, right? They’d have been built better then I suppose. Back when Nike were still trying to impress us.

Quite pleased with my recent Dunks I have to say, they’ve strengthened the inner heel area and that dearly needed addressing.

Nothing special and honestly didn’t last as long as someone might want but they skated better then any shoe in past memory

Yup the one I didn’t mention haha.

Seen a few pairs in the wild, not my cuppa but by no means a stinker. I’m stuck in a loop of skating Adidas and buying Nikes to sit in a cupboard and never wear because I don’t think I can pull off what I like to buy anymore - Iv had a pair of Mulder Dunk Highs in my boot for 2 years and I love them but think I must look like a dick when I wear them. Obviously I don’t have them laced like the below because that’s mental.

The highs are probably the hardest to pull off I’d say but the newer ones are a fair bit slimmer so that might help.

I only ever wear them with some Polar 90s jeans my fat belly can barely get into. I’m succumbing to 32” waist.

I had a couple of pairs of these - the cream ones. They look really nice straight out the box but they quite quickly lost their shape.

Pretty decent for a cheap ish basic shoe though
