My payment has just now finally gone through - like 3 hours later.
I tried to Klarna it for added discount but it got stuck as pending in the app and then the Vans site would just load back to my basket.
£19 for 2 pairs of shoes basically…

It’s not really £19, it’s just split over 3 payments so I just feel like I got a bargain.
I got a pair of white/gum Crockett lows and a pair of black/gum old skools. None of which were the shoe I actually needed haha but they look nice.

The vans outlets here in the USA do this for the store fronts sometimes I’ve walked away with 3 pairs for the price of 1 at retail, they change it up from time to time though
Got some clothes for the kids, mainly for xmas presents. A pair of Aves for £22.50 fell into the basket whilst I was at it.

The 50% code still worked for me, layering the other 20% code didn’t, but i’ll take 3 pairs for £100 any day of the week, 2 for me and a spangly pair for minipunk
Website is crashing like mad, order went through Paypal but site crashed, did a live chat with “Celia” and she confirmed that it went through fine
By the time I got the cart working I had time to think no, the one pair yesterday was enough.
Nah, no Crockett colourways I was really feeling in my size.
Classic navy Skate Old Skools with white sole, brown and beige Skate Old Skool with white sole, black Skate SK8 Lows with white sole, black Skate SK8 Mids with white sole and that checker board pattern I wouldn’t have paid full price for (but the tag on the tongue says Grosso so I had to), some socks and a mini bag.

Not sure what’s going on now with Vans, got a message from Paypal this morning to say that they’ve refunded the money, order is still sitting as pending but at the full price
I’ll sit it out and see what happens, if they try to charge full price they’ll get sent back
