Nice, I’ve got a pair of the lynx zero’s when I’m done with my current shoe.
Possibly one of the better remakes, skate and look good.
Still got some in boxes for potential skate shoe apocalypse or something.
Been looking for some nice cargo pants, where are those from?
I’d love to run a pair of Lynx as chill shoes but it’d require an entire wardrobe overhaul. Had a couple pairs when I was young so I’ve got a soft spot for them. Very hyped on DC re-finding themselves in recent years.

I’ve had two pairs of lynx and two manteca and the quality is excellent. Properly well made shoes. I did have a bit of a wardrobe change but it coincided nicely with becoming fat.

Can thoroughly recommend rothco BDU cargos. I got some mediums at FTC (I’m a 30" waist) and promptly bought 2 more pairs when I got back to UK, army surplus stores sell them. Also Amazon. Pretty cheap and well made. Long in length.
Am wearing some mediums in olive drab iirc here

Loose for life here, I hate tight shit on my body and socks with seams etc etc. Got proper difficult getting loose fit for a long time. Depressing.
Took a trip to Vegas and I filled my boots with loose fit Levi’s.
Kids at the part were like WTF when I rocked up a decade ago 
I digress. Shoe thread. 808’s. Wow. Almost happy to relinquish boardfeel to keep my feet working after last weekend in the AVES.

Went down a must-buy-new-shoes rabbit hole. Worried about chunky tongues. Ended up buying two pairs of Dunks from Flatspot. Seemed like a mid-point. Never owned dunks before.
I blame the rum. The sun and the rum. Bastards.

I just picked up 2 new pairs of dunks as well I’m actually really liking them, they feel a little slimmer then recent dunks have, sometimes the dunk tongue is too much so I’m enjoying them being a tad thinner
It also could just happen to be the pairs I bought that have a slimmer build but just happen to notice it in both

I prefer slimmer tongues on them as well, I’ve no idea who thought adding massive tongues to what are fairly slim shoes would look good. The highs are a lot better now as well, when they first did the SB versions they were pretty big.

Some of them look decent/alright guess depending on what pants your wearing with them but was never a huge fan of the puff tongue and I swear some of them are massive, I’m loving the 2 pairs I got there perfect far as padding goes, that’s funny you say that they were talking about these over on NikeTalk, the highs looked ridiculous with the thick tongues, seems they were more popular with the non skating crowd

Looks good with the clocker sole, although I wish they could’ve done a mold with a sole similar to the OG or the Wenning one. I guess it’s cheaper to use the presses available and/or that’s what he wanted (plus they probably want to keep using the Clocker one, since it’s been in use with the remakes).
When he was over ze UK last, the models were essentially the 'Centric? (?) beefed up and looked a lot like these, but a lot more tech minus the lace loops and strap. Obviously samples, but glad they went the way they’ve gone with this as they looked a bit mad. Unless I’m mixing up an actual model that is coming out.
