Great ad. The cream version of the shoe looks not great imo (reminds me of that awful recent Lakai shoe), but the black is nice.

I like the off-white one because it reminds me of the Vans Mike Carroll shoe which can only be a good thing.

Black with a gum sole (yeah, boring and safe I know…) and the leather in matt and not shiny and they’d be ok.

Tried them on today, look quite good on, pretty comfy and quite wide which is good for ancient knackered trotters. Very firm and flat feeling, would need a bit of breaking in compared to the vulcs. The short toe and longer lace section actually gives them quite a distinct look, not like a Samba more like old people’s shoes, which is pretty much the style Last Resort seem to be going for. Quality is very good.
I was gonna try a pair but I think I’ll stick with vulcs and give a pair of the Mango shoes a go. There’s a nice two tone grey version this time around.
They look like every court shoe rip-off Primark have ever released mushed into one, made out of the sample colourway panels they threw away because the colours were shit. I feel like an all white, white/gum, black/gum or navy/gum would look good but nearly every shoe looks good in those colours.
