The recent Tribo has a pretty close sole if you ignore the air bag.
Looks dope, even with the different sole. It’s close enough.
Lol as if Chris Roberts knows what a Clocker is.
My understanding is that is like $30k to setup a new mould for the sole. So, reissuing a shoe for one run just isn’t feasible when you have to stump up that just to get going.
I’d be surprised to hear that he knew what a clock was tbh
Perhaps all that kind of funding is being focussed on bringing the Muska and Creager back. Personally I think you either bring back a shoe as it was or not at all.
Also, if they’re going bring all these shoes back as even puffier and stumpier versions as we’ve seen with the Accel and MJ I’d rather they just try entirely new designs.
Wade and Asta easily deserve pro models.
When did these come out? https://www.amazon.com/eS-Mens-Ellipse-Skateboarding-Shoe/dp/B0049B2284
The sole is practically identical to the ogs
Gotta be pre-2019 as I’ve not seen them reissued.
Yep. I agree. Except Asta.
It’s the same sole they used on the Accelite when they did the reboot in 2016. So I’m guessing these were 2014/2015 maybe?
I’m actually rocking my Accelites again now as they’re the only shoes that are comfortable enough for my broken toe to heal in, ha.
Greco apparently decided the best way to have a pro shoe is to make it yourself
Hasn’t the dress shoe trend been and gone? They both look well made in fairness.
Ugh I just still can’t do slip ons. No matter what brand
I know, Sole Tech plug… but the Wino G6 Slip Cup is such a good shoe. Very sturdy.
I won some shoes from Vans back in the 80’s . They sent me slip ons so I sent them back
I love Slip Ons. Not necessarily for skating but love the look of em
Yup, I thought slip ons were a universal staple that everyone loved.
Yeah everyone in Newton Faulkner’s dreadlock longboard club.
