Is this skater owned like New Balance?

Square Three was a one-piece toe panel and significantly thinner than the Accel.

Square One was much more Accel adjacent.

There was a Square Two as well, I think that and the Square Three were near enough exactly the same, at least visually.

There was also an Accel SQ.

I’d take any of them, but the Square One was the best as far as I’m concerned.

Square ones were amazing, skated them for ages but fancied a cupsole again and the slim came out. I really liked the Edridge ones too, had many of them.

Honkers, the lot of 'em

Yeah, Square One has the Accel side panels.

Two and Three aren’t very nice. haha.
I think I had Threes.

It wasn’t a particularly ground-breaking design or anything but I really liked the first Garcia pro shoe:

I loved the team around that time, but I just totally tuned out with the shoes. They were generally all just so bland.

Yeah it wasn’t a good era, far too many basic models and as a result a lot of people lost interest.

But at the time people wanted that, simple shoes that just skated well with feel. The colours kept them interesting or just stank. Heel bruises brought cupsoles back probably.
It’s impossible to please folk though, people ask for a functional classic and then it’s too boring and then ask for something interesting and then it’s too out there.

I did a few bits for éS when Nicky rode for them during this era. Percy gave me loads of these. I liked them because they were a faux vulc, they had a nice squishy midsole.

The problem was the glue at the time was shocking and it was a toin coss as to whether the sole would come apart from the upper. Sometimes it was straight out of the box!

Another brand having a go:

I had this exact colourway a few years ago. Loved how they looked, hated how they felt skating, me and vulcs don’t get on at all unfortunately.

Anyone skated Tyshawn lows?

How’d they feel? Take long to break in?

Found the original Tyshawn’s toe box too narrow

How original

Wonder how long it took them to come up with there name

All this square three talk, mine sat for years in my closet and then pitched them off on eBay about 3 weeks ago for some decent pocket change

Not a bad shoe just not for me

For anyone playing along at home, I went past a skateshop yesterday and compared the lows with the originals (not sure if it was the remastered version or not), but the soles are the same, so going to pass on trying the lows unless I find them for a steal.

I won’t be spending $210 dollars on a pair but I would love some of these:
