The adidas outlet here has a full wall of Stan Smiths right now. Bathing Ape ones for £30 and shit. Makes these ones even shitter, knowing they can’t shift the regular (and other irregular) versions.

The patent Campus(?) he did were piled high in the outlet. Likewise (more recently) the black/gum Gonz Aloha were £28.

Was just about to post a screenshot of him in another thread. Looks like an extra from Green Street.
This but also comfortable. I was in a skate shop at the weekend, rare occasion, and so I tried on as many types of brand and styles as poss in my size. Having been tied to one brand for so long, this is a fun exercise for me. I was expecting so much from the likes of Nike and NB but they were all uncomfortable in some way. The best shoe, for comfort, I tried on was the Lucien! Wouldn’t rock a silver shoe but also definitely not rocking a day Glo orange one!

There isn’t much more that could be wrong about those. Laces going into the toebox is always ugly as fuck, except maybe on one or two ACGs, comically oversized heel pull-tabs make them look like they’re aimed at babies, that moulded shit makes it look like they’ve stood in paint (and has weirdly Swoosh-esque contours) and that meshy shit everybody uses now does not suit these.

ACG have done this rock climbing crossover a few times, Okwahn, Pocketknife etc…
I quite like the current ACG Exploraid shoe.
I feel like these are too close to climbing shoes to work…they could have tweaked it a bit further.

Rubber toes just ruin the perfect kickflip. Can’t stand rubber toes and those will just send a kickflip shooting off under a bus.
