I always wanted the red and white prophets but was a skint student at the time so ended up getting some old red and white MC Raps off Peak Performance instead. They were awful and one mate called me Chucky Shoes until I finally ditched them. That mate actually went on to start that Mr Q online gambling company, so I guess once a wanker always a wanker…

Had a few pair of Knox’s now and they’re a great shoe.
Has anyone here actually had any Reynolds and managed to find a size that fits properly?

Half size up, same as adidas. Im a UK9 in Vans, got 9.5 in Busenitz and Superstars and 9.5 in the Reynolds and theyre spot on

Strange as I tried my normal size and they were tiny, just got a half size up and they’re still not right. The shoes seem really narrow and I definitely don’t have wide feet at all. Just ordered a whole size up as a last ditch attempt. If not then they’re obviously not meant to be.

Was late to the party but managed to find a pair of these the other week. Not even worn them outside yet. Super snug feeling. Penny 2s were some of my favourites back in the day, these feel pretty close.

Been wearing these every day (and doing around 10,000 steps a day) since Sunday, and whilst I like the look a lot, they’re hard work.
Only just worn the leather in to a point where it feels ok, but fuck me the insoles are pathetic and foam in the midsole is hard and uncomfortable. Feel like I’m walking on wood.
Just swapped the insoles out for Emerica G6, hopefully that will help. Overall, not that stoked (now) compared to the 933 and wish I’d have spent a little extra on another pair of those instead.
Oooo yeah I wouldn’t be doing 10K steps in the 600 haha. 933 or 770 for that!

FWIW - Carry on from my moaning in Gone Skateboarding. White sole Busenitz pro have a long initial sole wear in time, I reckon I skated a solid 4.5 hours in them before they started to feel grippy, so I guess it’ll be releasing agents or something (new car tyres take a while too for example). Uppers on these were well broken in. Looking forward to the next couple of months in these now, had about 9 weeks out of my last pair that I wore last summer.
Happily rotating between Westgates, Busenitz and 440v2 for the time being. 600’s are nice and skate well but a little tight around the forefoot for me.

No, sorry, tired last night. I meant I’ll probably wear a 440 next, then a 508 then Busenitz. Or maybe a 508. Maybe a 600 and wack the shoe stretcher in them for a couple of weeks ha

I can’t wear mine anymore. It’s been a week and they hurt so much, had to put them on Vinted.
If they don’t sell I’ll give them to charity, I’m disappointed in the 600.
