They look pretty cool although the kevlar toe cap looks truly bullet proof, possibly too thick for skating.
Shoes weigh a bit too.
Foot feels snug in them with comfy pillowey tongue and padded ankle support. Can slip thrm on and off without doing the laces and fairly minimal achilles support rolling inwards.
Tongue also has strange pocket area where I think you can tuck the laces in rather than down the sides of your feet?
Toe box bit pointy. I deliberately went half size up to avoid squashed toes and glad I did.
I got two pairs. Kevlar for knocking about in and I think they’ll do the job well.
Others are for skating in. Lets see…My flip tricks will probably feel good but most other thing will feel like they are on autopilot due to sole thickness. Not my usual bag, but I’ll give it a go…I always said I was a vulc guy but I’ve been loving the KSL III which is a cup. So…I wonder how far I can take this party.
They were absolutely, shockingly shit. They might have been my first pair of actual skate shoes and I got my money back after I went through them in a couple of days. Back to Hi-Tecs from the market.
I wish I’d have taken my pair back, but unfortunately I tried to stick the woolies patches on when the sole went through within a week, which somehow made them even worse.
I really wanted a pair of Hogs but couldn’t get them. Went through a few pairs of Rucanor baseball boots (literally) as an alternative - they were alright.
The only pic I could find to show and tell is of a pair to that seem to be on eBay.
I had some of those! They had a stash pocket in the tongue (for your keys and tuck shop money obviously, this was well before I had anything else to put in there, and at least 10 years pre-Muska)
