Clae were a flash in the pan. I got mine at a discount because they didn’t really sell.
Currently wearing through a set of Puma classics because I’m apparently cosplaying Scott Bourne right now. They skate fine and feel really similar to Vans Old Schools with the exception of a pronounced ankle cut out. Suede is wearing well though! Unlikely to buy again, but a fun change.
Absolute banger that
I reckon if I block-biro my arms I’ll be able to bs 270 into everything.
Recycload
These did the rounds on instagram a few days ago.,
Did anyone ever skate these?

They look so perfect, I’m amazed that of all the shite that’s been reissued, recycled and reanimated, no one has tried to exhume Vita.
They look like shoes my nan would wear
Your nan is cool.
Nah she ain’t mate.
How many books have you read/written?
The shoe at the top of that first image looks a bit off, I guess it’s AI or something? I didn’t like that shoe at all at the time but I’m into them now.
Wasn’t Dill’s Vita shoe a direct rip off of another shoe?
Hahaha! Poor dude got ribbed. There’s very little empathy for that arse-clenching Paris documentary with him talking about wearing suits though.
Whoa! Are these NOS? Always wanted to skate the Natas show Vita did - pretty sure he did all the font and graphic design for them too.
I think they were at the time, the post I got that from is pretty old though.
A shit Air Max?
Wasn’t it his DVS shoe that was a rip of some designer trainer?
Knew it was one of them (maybe both). Do people remember Ronnie Creager started his own shoe company around this time too? Nadia Footwear (named after his daughter I think?). I only remember it as someone I know was promised a stake in it but the company fell through pretty fast.
/pub trivia.
I’ve still got a pair of these, they were weirdly unskateable for me, due to the rubber in the sole being a bit too hard so you couldn’t feel anything properly. I also thought at the time that they just didn’t look like something Natas would wear, but hey he designed them so what do I know. Of course they’re now 25 years old and rock hard and totally unwearable, so I keep them in my small private Natas shrine
Link footwear actually looked alright. I remember a few people in Lyon wearing just before it all fell apart.
