Favourite Shaun moment was at NASS after the organisers had been on at all the riders to send a headshot over for the jumbo screen to make it more professional and Shaun had confirmed heād done it ages ago and it was all fine. Day of the festival arrives then when they finally call his name out and flash up what should have been his lovely grinning face and itās instead a random photo of some 45 year old black guy. Apparently be couldnt be arsed to get a proper photo arranged so heād just googled āblack guyā and sent the first photo on google images over. We were pissing ourselves and asked why he didnt send one of himself over and he just shrugged and said something along the lines of āall black blokes look the same to these guys they wont be able to tell the differenceā then skated his run.
It may have been the StuPoo year as well.

Was at the Bristol prem.
Whole video is great. Shaun footage is some of his best. Josh arnott also has a great section. dom had a big chunk, naturally steez of course.
I havenāt paid a great deal of attention to Ollie lock before but I think his footage stood out to me the most. Really liked his section and the video as a whole.
Was super lovely to see Shaun go pro. Filmed a scene video together when he was 15 so itās wonderful to see him still going and getting the nod.

Iād love to skate with Shaun Currie, just seems like the type of person I love having around on a session!
Shaun rips and is fucking hilarious. Donāt see him around much nowadays as he moved to Bristol.
He was also really sound to me when I started skating 9 years back and had massive imposter syndrome because i was so old/shit and didnāt really know anyone.
He once spotted me approach a DIY spot that used to be near here and then slinking off quietly without skating cos there were some local rippers already there having a sesh. He bollocked me the next time he saw me and told me to come skate next time.

Edit: I did watch it, went to bed, slept for a couple of hours woke up and spent most of the night awake. I am now shattered.
