I just kinda skipped them by accident. Don’t really know how. Always skated flat ground and then manny pads. When it came to flat bars I just completely avoided them and then on ledges I’d just do bs nose
grinds and bs smiths. Oh yeah, another fun fact……I can’t fs 5050. Absolutely no idea why. Just doesn’t work.

As for baordslides, I’m not going to learn them now I’m deep into my 30s. Kind of like the idea of going my whole life without ever doing one.

Boardslides on ledges are equally fun and stinking… Regardless they feel fantastic!

When I was 15 I used to say I’d ollied a 10 set, in my head I knew it was 9. I just wanted to keep up with the moshers.

I have skated for 25 years but I am, on a technical level, a terrible skateboarder. My back foot often leaves my board when I pop an ollie. I mob my kickflips. I cannot switch or nollie flip.

Are you a heelflipper? (one of god’s chosen ones)

Can’t switch flip or Nollie flip or regs heel - properly.

Switch heel and Nollie heel no probs

Back in 2001 I sent a sponsor me email to rollersnakes where I listed every trick I could do. I would of been about 13 in all fairness and had just learned what sponsorship was. Safe to say it never went anywhere.

I’m the same except for regs heels

Switch flips and nollie flips are absurd to me. Me foot just won’t move properly to flip it

Sort of the same for me as well. Nollie heels and switch heels are no problem. Nollie flips are fine. But switch flips are so hard. Mine look so bad when I rarely do them. It’s a trick that makes me feel like I’ve just started skating.

If I meet you anytime please teach me to nollie flip

Once you learn Nollie flips they are easier than kickflips imo - on flat at least.

I can variel heel but have never even come close to landing a heelflip.

Basically every flat ground trick is haha. I’m so jealous of everyone who has a solid kickflip!

Growing up Chet Thomas was my favourite skater.

My Nan and Grandad took me too a car boot when I had just started skating and I found a mountain of Sidewalk (Surfer) mags and I remember seeing him in an A Team ad and it stuck. I even had a pair of Chet IV’s once upon a time.
