Skate spots you’ve known and loved which are no longer there.

A few stunts at Radlands wouldn’t go amiss either.

Wakefield.

Leicester crown court was amazing. Only got to skate them once before they were bulldozed.

Was that the red brick spot with stairs and hubbas?

Yeah, there’s still some bank to wall around the side but originally had amazing brick banked hips around the front

skate the final layout in my dreams all the time

Absolutely!

Straight out of Thrashin’!

no recollection of him soz. I remember Sicky, Phil the punk, Marcus (I think)

Oh fuck, never got to skate the hips, I’m sure I went though as we met Joac there (yok) however he spelt it. Must’ve been just as it was being fucked. I def remember a set of steps with a really low brick ledge down the side you could slappy noseslide. It’s very vague memory. Leicester was a balck hole for spots for a good while.

That would be Bryn! He was amazing.

Was prob before your time. They were gone before the end of the 80’s

Oh definitely then, those banks and hips would have been etched in my mind. I don’t think I visited Leicester until 93.

outdoor public skateparks should just be a replica of this with some movable ledges
