Can recommend Charlestown for non skate related activities if you are in that part of Cornwall. Hard to explain, very little there but just really fucking rad.

Just had three lovely days on the Norfolk coast, loads of nothingness, was amazing.
Found these two crusty gems in Hunstanton though, a coastal town that they forgot to close down. Soft wheels needed.

Oh, that’s sick! I was just at Hunstanton the other week. Never did really like it there, prefer Brancaster that neck of the woods. Absolutely nothing there though. Some walls that look amazing to skate but no actual way of skating.

Hunstanton was great for fish&chips and non-spots that looked like spots. We were at a campsite a looooong walk away, middle of nowhere, run by a nice guy who kept 44 owls in huts and who I suspect is a serial killer.
However, I’m glad we didn’t stay at this campsite, which sounds like there’s some absolute filth goes on inside:
Whilst on the subject of holiday spots watching, saw this little grind transfer spot this AM in St Malo. There was a sick looking flat bar spot down the round but the kids started to wonder off before I could get a pic. Saw a sick looking tunnel wallride spot from the car also. Might have to take a little detour later this week to get a closer look.
I’ll admit, it’s not the place that ever bothered me, just that the only times I have been it’s been heaving and loads of litter leaving ballbags on the beaches.
I agree, that sign must have some secret code to allude that this is the stop for those types of couples.
Have to say, Hunstanton punters seemed quite nice and respectable, the place was pretty well kept (compared to other seaside shitholes) and litter-free, and I was dreading loads of gammon and flags but was pleased to see loads of Sikhs for some reason, and happy faces all round.

My GF’s parents live in Wisbech so we go over fairly often so i’d definitely like to go on a less hectic day but I always default to Brancaster. But those spots could entice me. Who am I kidding, me? skateboarding? what am I thinking?

Hunstanton is a lovely spot. When i first lived in Kings Lynn and ventured up Sunny Hunny i was expecting the seaside equivalent of Skeggy or Blackpool but that seems to be contained to one bit. If you walk the coast you’ll reach Holme next the sea and thats a pretty nice area.
The new popular area seems to be Wells next the sea thanks to the influencer crowd. Full of abhorrent entitled tourists now

I think I mentioned before I’m sure I’ve seen a photo by Leo of someone wallriding it quite high up. Maybe Barney?
EDIT: I’ve DM’d Leo to see if my hunch is right and end this mad obsession I’ve had with this really awful Cornish spot I’ve been stuck with for the last week or so!
EDIT 2: Final update. Spoke to Leo, he knew of the spot however he had never taken a photo of anyone there. So as anti climactic as it is at least I can now rest… Until the next saga.
