Spot spotting

Plus a bit of what Judith said , I think

I genuinely dislike Jenkem not that it’s easy to tell.
Lol.
Last good thing they did was the Herzog thing - everything else has been shite. Stolen valour off the Mile Carroll interview really.
Whatever I’m sure they’re all cool but I’m not keen.

Yeah - no hate from me either.
Just a bit bone

I sent them the interviews for those Penny-story comic strips a couple of years ago, and we said we’d talk about what we might do with them - there was a vague conversation about them going in their next book. New book comes out and they’re in there (looking amazing because Jon Horner had illustrated them) and I had no idea.

Ian said how they’d sacked off the first editor for the book (the guy I’d sent these to) and there had been some breakdown in communication. No shit.

Sent an invoice for a fair bit more than I would have if it had all been sweet, and to be fair they paid it straight away. Or Converse did. Or somebody. Whoever it was that helped with that third book. Ian did seem super nice and very genuine, but yeah, they were in a position to do lots of interesting stuff and they don’t.

I’m so trigger happy when I screen shot potential Google map finds that sometimes I go through the archives and can’t remember what part of the photo is supposed to be a spot

i literally do a double take on a bunch of posts of yours mistaking them for something I would have written :joy:

Nice! Where’s this?

Partridge county. Norwich. Jazzy bakery across the road too that sells yesterdays cakes for £1.

I saw Yesterdays Cakes support Ned’s atomic dustbin in 93.

Sorry

Spot or nah?

Deffo something there.

What are peoples opinions on skating schools?
After a lot school sessions during the peak of my Transworld video consumption, I’ve pivoted and I’m now pretty anti school skating.
Same for anything NHS.

Yup I wouldn’t skate a school or building like that anymore.

Doesn’t seem quite right in my head being 34 and still climbing into schools at a weekend.

@Gconroy I wouldn’t have even questioned it in my early 20’s. Just hop the fence and go.

Yer, when you start looking like a nonce.

I’ve felt (relatively) strongly about not wasting school or nhs resources for a good few years now but yeah, post early 20s, climbing into a school comes with a few extra issues.
Really not keen to be on a register

it’s not like you’re doing a crooked grind on an MRI machine or slappying a child, why would skating an NHS building or school be an issue? your skating isn’t going to be costing the NHS money and climbing a fence outside of school hours isn’t going to land you on a register

Nah but its just bait climbing into a school anyway, and to be honest a group of 30year old + people climbing into a school looks sketchy at my age I feel.

For me, not a chance.
Schoolyards are off the agenda.
