Never been a fan of crookeds, nose and tailslides shot on the “outside” of a rail, like this one, where you can’t see the wheels, trucks or in this case, the all-important pinch.

Booked today off work as an impromptu chill day. Ended up mowing the lawn which is quite therapeutic to me, and then went swimming on my own which was so nice.
Haven’t been properly for 2 years and it felt good to have an hour of exhausting myself. I’ve taken my son during that 2 year stint, but it isn’t the same!
Off to the pub later with some friends to top it all off.

Rad. Theres a village near us with an outdoor heated pool. Whenever theres a bit of bickering in our family we go for a swim and it sorts everything out without fail.

Can’t remember the last time I posted in the stoked thread tbh.
The last few months have been really shit at work, high stress, shit unrewarding projects and just a general toxic atmosphere. I’ve rewritten my cv and genuinely thought about just quitting at least a couple of times.
Anyway, yesterday a client signed off on a project that I’ve been working really, really hard on - ‘it’s banging, you’ve nailed it’ was one bit of feedback that stood out. I feel really vindicated that I am actually good at my job. I’d forgotten what it’s like to produce something I’m actually proud of.

Union has agreed a lump backdated payrise coming at the end of next month and I’ve got a promotion with about a 10% bump coming then too. Phew.

In Devon. Done fuck all apart from watch footy everywhere is shut. Had a few beers and smokes today, will try and focus tomorrow. Did a little photo mission today. I never look at the harbour in these directions.
Weather was shit will walk more tomorrow. Just got loads of washing done.
Bought a meletonin (sp) sleep vape.
Agency I worked with at last work wants me to propose myself as an employee for them, what I can do etc.
Wish I could live here in the winter. No one about , it’s like Need for Speed Brixham

Homie has a tattoo appointment in Newcastle next Thursday, his van is fucked so I offered to drive him. He’s paying petrol and two nights Air BnB so we can see some stuff as well.
Obviously I’m going St James’ Park, @Bish what other cool stuff is there to see? I’ve only ever been to the Toon for football, so been up for a night, watched the game, got pissed and fucked off never had a chance to walk round the city. Where shall I go?
