Yeah, he has a pro shoe on Nike, so it would be in their interest to help him out with such things and they will sort it out quicker and better than April ever could I’d imagine. Like you said with Nike having to deal with international athletes everyday. They’d be a well oiled machine.
There are special visas for Olympic athletes anyway. If you’re the best in the world (gold medal says Yuto is) you can get a no questions asked super Visa.
I think its mainly just a case of he’s the best contest skater anyway so might as well just compete and win and get paid.
