Supreme

Wife did round the world yacht race and I had to source her a load of Musto gear halfway through. Full body racing kit, pretty much saved her life on occasion (she got hypothermia part way through), so I definitely fuck with Musto and love the ‘if you know you know’ vibe from it

Fully this. Musto, Gill and a bit of Henri Lloyd (before it was recently sold) all day. Once you’ve had sailing wet weather gear you can’t go back to TNF pac-a-macs. Go overboard and opt for the offshore shit and you’re laughing no matter how bad the weather gets. When it comes to footwear don’t mess about with the DC Navigators or even Tims, I swear by Lowe GTX,( I’ve had the Tibets, Mountains and Combats-they last for years), for wet and cold weather. Look after your boots and they’ll look after you. Oh, and respect to Spanky’s wife for doing the RTW race. I’ve always fancied having a go at it. A mate did the Vendee Globe and that’s a whole different story, No one should worry about placing in that - if you finished, you’ve won.

Just read the thread title…says ‘Supreme’ not sailing, doh…sorry.

I do like a bit of Arcterycx and Patagonia too… layer up and all that, and those CG jackets definitely do the job.

It was a pretty tongue in cheek comment.

I love the random diversity of topics in this forum. It keeps me feeling English and I love you all for that.

After suffering some of the collecting groups on Facebook, it was more about imagining the view of a MASesque outsider reading this forum whilst awaiting the series 37 bones brigade reissues.

DUDE, I know!

yeah if i was to put down some money it’d be arcteryx.
i want to say patagonia but everything ive tried of theirs just seems ‘off’.
they seem to have been co-opted by your normie bloke too.
was at their arcteryx outlet in seattle and everything was so good and really well priced.
but you were screwed if you weren’t XXS or XXL.
got a nice bag mind.

Agreed

Yep, same same. Only fuck with Patagonia for base layers (merino one’s top notch) and rucksacks.

My wife really likes Arc’teryx Veillance, although the bloke’s stuff’s a bit too jazzy VisVim shoe wearer man about town for me.

If anyone needs a good quality, long lasting woolly pulley, you could do a lot worse than North Sea Clothing. It’d never happen, (the fact that NSC make some proper hideous shoes wouldn’t help), but that’s a Supreme collab I’d like to see - It’s probably more of a JCrew thing

Remember in like 2003 when every single canadian skater wore a white ghetto gown and massive jeans lol.

There was loads of them. I watched some scene video where there was like 8 parts and everyone looked the same but were amazing and really tech.

I was give a krew ghetto gown once. I used to wear it in bed like some sort of man nightie.

Huh, I just realised I forgot about Krew. They used to be massive. Completely disappeared and I never noticed

Only ever saw it on the sale rails but there always seemed to be absolutely shitloads of it. Two pages ads in every mag, and absolutely loads of gear, but always discounted.

Used to sell like hot cakes in Route One to non skaters.

I recall Francois liking their jeans.

They were good to skate in, easy to find and often discounted. Everybody skated in them here. I haven’t seen anything by Krew in aeons though.
