Cheers. I’m not cool enough, or flush enough, to know about that. Looking now though!
You’ll be sorted for life.
technics 1200 or 1210’s are now more expensive second hand than they used to be new, but they will last for ever. i got my pair off a mate for £250 about 13 years ago and now the same ones would cost about £800 on ebay (although the new ones now are ridiculously over priced - going for audiophile rather than DJ market)…there are a few copies or alternatives with direct drive that have the direct drive torque (for instant start up) but cheaper than technics (newer versions seem to be between £800 and £1400 for one!)
couple of examples below - have never used the pioneer or stanton so cant vouch for quality but i had a pair of the numark ones before the technics and they were pretty solid - you can pick these up pretty cheap second hand.

I have the Audio Technica AT-LP1240USB
which is pretty good.
A few are based on the same OEM turntables just with diferent branding and styling. Beneath, many are the same mechanics.
Cheers Dan. I’ll give them a look and save up a bit of money.
Blimey, had no idea 1210’s went for that much now. Think I paid £300 per deck for mine back in 1993.
I’ve got a numark tt100 ( I think) that cost 25 quid on ebay for 5 years and has worked flawlessly. In my old job in a college music department we found some 1210s in a cupboard and sold um on for about £700 each. We also had some numark ntx1000s in our “dj booth” that survived some serious student abuse for years
Sold one of my 1200s for £100 at a particularly low point.
AF1’s ain’t my bag but to have them permanently in stock is such a good idea.
Kinda like the pants and the socks.
And the spitfires and the Indys.
Didn’t see that bit. Still be impossible to get tho. Can you imagine how crazy school kids will go for the black ones
Aren’t these meant to be the same as boxers and socks? Basic everyday stuff just with Supreme branding, and plenty to go around?
Actually that’s exactly what Judith said.
GoodFellas is my favourite film so I’m a big fan of that Motion logo. Looks like I’ll be tuning in on a Thursday morning for the foreseeable.
Anyone remember those Deathwish boards from a couple of years ago which had film stills as full bleed graphics on them? One of them had the same photo of DeNiro that’s my icon here and another had Bardem in No Country For Old Men. They were banging but I never saw them in UK shops.
Rad
Seem to remember that the AF1 is the all time best selling Nike shoe #SHOEFACTS
I wonder if anyone ever has seriously tried to play any sport in them?
I’m no AF1 fan either, but respect to Supreme for making them part of their permanent range.
IIRC they were originally a basketball shoe so yes, I think shitloads
No wonder they weren’t dunking as much back in the old days.
Darts and snooker are sports.
