I can’t take away from him the fact that he’s doing very gnarly impressive stuff but That new Aurelien Giraud part is probably the most soulless, horrible looking skating I have ever seen. It’s not that it’s even ugly so much, there are millions of uglier skaters it’s just really fucking devoid of anything positive. My opinion of course.
It’s the tracksuit pants that kill it for me, despite the fact they might be more practical, they just look bad. The edit was meh, the tune was awful (sounded like 4 different tunes on the timeline at once) and although he can do some impressive tricks, he’d definitely benefit from some better guidance on how to properly construct a video part. Not necessarily to the level of obsession that Mark Suicu puts into it, but coming from a similar perspective. He should probably hold back off putting all his best bangers on Instagram all the time too.
