In what way? Were they really mosher or more contrived? Did they have tubs of hair gel with them?
Dennis the Menace for Pig Wheels.
I kind of respect him for ploughing his own furrow. He’s fucking gnarly that’s for sure. That back noseblunt was nuts.
Is 2001 really so long ago that teenagers today are now dressing like teenagers did back then? That made me feel really old.
I think I enjoyed it though. Nice to see someone doing something a bit different (even if that something different means dressing like Gary, the Marilyn Manson fan who I sat next to in secondary school Physics)
If sonic the hedgehog could skate.
This defo isnt how people dressed back then but it is defo a modernised fashion version
They’ve cut parts out of the edit today, China may have had a word with YouTube about disrespecting their authority (can help thinking South Park when saying that)
Any security guard or pedestrian grief is edited out but it takes out coldwell’s intro
For sure, Shorty’s Guilty came out in 2001 and Yeah Right came out in 2003…
Im talking even among moshers, I was 13/14 in 2001 and was at peak greebo levels and people didnt look like that
Defo, it’s avril lagvine era
Wouldn’t they look more sum41/Fred Durst than Marilyn Manson? Oh, remember those MM hoodies being the bane of skaters lives actually.
I don’t really know…they all had some mad “flare” going on. Roofies Griptape or odd punky pants…
Like I say; they were really friendly.
I sort of got the impression they were owning this zone where they dress in such a way it pisses the opinionated people off and that was funny to them if they could get that reaction.
They were skating a spot we stopped at and I guess we just did the normal and said hello, etc. and were respectful that they already had a session in place. That given respect created respect, you know?
If we’d have turned up and been too cool for them or acted like they were kooks, they’d have been right to call us out in the same way as us perhaps showing up and not respecting their session was in place.
Not sure if that makes sense but it’s sort of a passive aggressive way of riling up the supposed gatekeepers of cool and I like it.
stinking
fashionable early to mid 00’s greebo is such a weird vibe

Yer man Nava is a rad skater ticking a lot of boxes with speed, power and hard tricks. Just needs to get himself on Queer Eye for the Skate Guy, but equally, if you’re not committing some outright fashion crimes against humanity in your teens then there’s something missing.
He’s like if Deryck Whibley skated for Sk8Mafia. I like him.
