I love AWS, and this guy is very good.
But do they not want people to enjoy their videos? That music was seriously stressful and made me feel anxious.
100% won’t be giving it a second viewing with the sound turned on.

I thought it was fucking great. Felt very AW to me. It has it all apart from the classic AW pros and it’s in HD. They are the two main reasons why it will not feel like AW to people, otherwise it’s all there. The fact that parts don’t get left in the Video/DVD player anymore, it will never have time to become anything but a fly by night try hard looking part. Especially with music, parts need repeat viewings.
I really liked the music in context with the skating and brand.

Yeah, I get ya and can see how it can be seen like that, I think it has in the recent past but this part seemed to work for me. I think when something dies and comes back, there always be a bit of that going on.

I liked that. Music was interesting, I thought it was Lightning Bolt at first which would have been sick. But yeah skating was good, music was different, filming was good.
Alien have a lot of legacy to live up to but I do like how they’re at least trying to keep things moving
