Rad vid. I went to Morocco twice and absolutely loved it but didn’t experience its modern side much, it was nice to see it in a good edit. Good to hear Tinariwen in a skate vid too!

That Mason Silva section was rad as you’d expect. Loving the backtail at 0:30, so sick. That whole line (that starts at 0:30) was splendid. The tailslide to lipslide combos were rad too.
Yet completely forgettable.

That fakie flip at Tampa forever secures him in the top few percent of ‘really good’. The people who’ve got that extra thing beyond just being able to put out good videos or whatever.

Fucking hell, Mason is a such a beast. He hasn’t had one part that wasn’t more or as exciting as the previous one.
Could totally picture another year or so of this productivity, then a couple of really heavy, years in the making type video parts - maybe closing out a Real full-length of some sort eventually.
The way he skates is like “East Coast powerhouse” gone Super Saiyan and he fucks up stairs and gaps with a similar rawness and aggression that AVE tears through ledges with.
No-one else has a chance at SOTY this year.
