He’s an amazing skater just the wrong person in charge of it, they tried to do a “modern” style, showing plenty face, run in/out, lifestyle, VHS, etc etc but the company and skater should be treated more traditionally. I think that’s why it seemed so jumpy, slow and unfocussed.

I can’t do the Vans vid right now, i’m not in the right frame of mind, it will just make me angry for no reason. Had to turn it off after Elijah’s first line. So much going on in that line and none of it was natural.

I think the edit needs an edit. Zero quality control in there, which makes him look bad. I mean, the poster frame there looks bonkers, but the footage didn’t do it justice. Final trick was sick, but just a lot of random tricks seemingly thrown in to make it look like he has a diverse bag of tricks or something. Some of them were rad, like the fakie/nollie (both?) 360 flip over a block, but they got lost in the mix, drowned out by some other nonsense.
