He’s better than questions and a nice guy so that’s 2 positives.
Filming a full part on street/DIY/real spots isn’t easy and so I respect that.
Very much not my thing though. Lot of early grabs and weird tricks on small transitions.

Yeah, theres a weird thing about all that. The whole 80’s cosplay thing for me doesn’t really work as when you go back to their influences, those people they are emulating were doing those tricks with incredible style on pretty gnarly spots, so you can’t really hold a candle to that.
That said, Dave does do it way better than Questions and I do quite like his safety hands style in the same way I like watching Bear Myles.
I preferred Daves previous Heroin part over this one. It felt more ‘flowy’, if that makes sense…which is the thing which is good about him.
Also, why is he dead?

As previously stated, I love Dave and this ticks all the boxes.
I think he’s a bit beyond cosplay too. That’s just how he is. All the time.

Jake Snellings the only good 80s inspired UK guy, does stuff with power and also gets gnarly. Half that Dead Dave stuff just felt like him flopping around with ‘half tricks’
Im sure half those street tranny spots are crusty as fuck but isn’t enjoyable to watch when youre putting your hands down and just sliding around

Dave’s been a big board riding, 80s obsessed weirdo for almost 15 years.
We used to skate the house a fair bit together and he always loved that stuff even then and I left Sheffield late 2006. So it’s just him being himself and it’s fucking rad.

Clothes don’t maketh the man… Unless my brain is shot, he was riding 9 inch boards when I skated with him and as I say it was 2004-2006. Maybe he had a functional board period haha
