I can’t really get hyped on too many videos these days (e.g. that Poetic collective thing was just derivative drivel) but I just wanted to say Tony Hawk’s Instagram is great fun. That back disaster thing he posted yesterday was so great. What a legend!

Dude was in the QSTop10 this week. His clip had a song that was unmistakably MBV - so I had to check the edit it was from. Admittedly it did contain zoomy filming, some trousers, a pressure flip or two, a boardslide flip out, bung on nose grind tailgrabs and a load more things
that could be seen as distasteful but it was still enjoyable and certainly worth the watch, (and a quick post on here).

From what I read on Slap, he got the boot as soon as he got in trouble with the law while Girl and some other companies fully backed him throughout the whole thing. Kinda like when Hewitt said he smoked in an interview (skateboarders smoking weed, who would have thought?!? Tiger Woods shagging hundreds of prostitutes was fine though).
CK was already skating in Old Skools before his sentence.
It seems like a lot of people are being let go over at the swoosh these days anyway, even people who did their job well apparently. Who knows?
