Yeah, I mean, you’re right. I wanted to like it more because it’s BA but realistically yes, it should have been trimmed into a nice 2.5 minute part.
I still love the lemonheads
Another excellent Cromer part. So solid. The dude never disappoints.
Liked that BA vid. I don’t care about his gear. He’s BA, he can do whatever he wants. He skates crusty dirty Jersey spots with Fred Gall and that’s great.
Brad Cromer is one of my favourites, if I see his name on something I will watch it 100% of the time.
Something I wouldn’t have expected to like was the fakie nosegrind heelflip out. Sounds stinking but it was great. Must be so awkward.
He’s made a lot of shit that sounds wrong on paper look really good over the years. He’s that good.
The filmer, Paul garr, has been filming a Freddy section also. Fred at the spots BA skates in this are really gonna get me hot under the collar
That Cromer part was so so good. Even the bailed kickflip was incredible.
Thank you. You’ve made my night. What a joy Brad Cromer is. He always gets it right.
After reading some of the comments about this BA part I was braced for the worst but I’ve got to say that I really really enjoyed that.
To me this communicated more of a sense of freedom, fun, and personal expression than most parts I see nowadays. Also he didn’t skate that slowly, and even when he did it doesn’t matter because his style is BIG SLOW-MOTION ALBATROSS anyway.
Cromer part was great.
Bit slow on the uptake this week but fuck me, what a week…Cromer and Hamilton both A++ gold label top standard shit.
Agreed, amazing section but the ender was pretty weak considering? Feel like I’m missing something.
Half Cab flip before was absolutely ‘Chef’s Kiss’
I loved that BA part all of his skating looks like he’s going against the wind or something I can’t put my finger on it there’s just some mystery ‘weight’ to his style
Deffo some early Toy Machine vibes still there in the BA part…
And the NJ pool stuff reminded me of his Yeah right Corio bowl clips.
the yeah right line with the fs tailslide and the bs noseblunt? his style is unreal in that!
Really liked the BA part. He seems happy and healthy. Not many ex pros still putting out parts at all so stoked on this. Gotta love the Alex Olson hydrant kickflip cameo, he’s still a smooth operator
Cromer part was such a joy. Everything was so perfect. You guys have already mentioned some of the best parts but damn that shifty flip over the railing put even PJ Ladd to shame
Best ended ever is PJ’s push. Things have been written about it in the past I know saying it symbolises heading into the future and onto the next thing etc… it’s so sick.
Really enjoyed his interview on one of the skate podcasts fairly recently. He just comes across as loving skateboarding and wanting to do it all the time. He mentioned he has a rain setup for pushing around NYC when it’s pissing down. One of those people who seems like all his success is just a side effect of him skateboarding the way he wants to.
Plus it looks like he’s trying to punch the camera which adds to his maniac-who-skates-flatground-alone-for-5-hours-at-night-and-shit-like-that mystique, like he’s saying cool, you got your line, now leave me alone.
