Haha no way, Ronson was bad.
This guy is insane.
If only Koston had took an interest in filming some of his own riders when he had a company.
He’s definitely who I’m cheering to steal Nyjahs gold medal.
Do people call him Sushi?
and me.
Where did someone say that?
Holy shit that 18 stair switch tail was in a line
Also, first person to do that since Rowley in Sorry?
I thought that Koston’s mentioning of sushi was an inference or suggestion that that was what they were going to do now that the trick had been landed.
That’s probably it.
Pretty sure it’s because he’s Japanese….
Some good stuff in that Yuto section but he never really went crazy like I was expecting. Not on a Nyjah-level anyways.
Nyjah doesn’t seem to do flips down big stuff now though so he’s got him there I think.
I think he makes it looks so easy. There was some heavy heavy stuff in there.
Yeah he does. He does tricks that would be hard on a curb or a ledge down big rails with perfect relaxed style. Insane.
Only criticism I would have is that the spot selection is a bit uninspired it’s all pretty generic stuff but yeah the tricks make up for it.
Loved this and had a cool coincidence after watching.
Messaged my lady who is actually playing the Philip Glass piece in a concert next week to say that I Just seen this vid used the piece she was playing and she said she just finished practicing it so would have been listening at the same time but in totally different ways. Pointless fact but I thought it was fun ha.
that’s great, what instrument will she play in it?
Also as a weird coincidence I’ve just finished working on a show where we used that piece (Floe) all the time in rehearsals, had it buzzing round my head for the last two months!
Amazing part. Sometimes I find Mulhern’s edits a bit too cold/clean/graphic-designery/intellectual (maybe also cos of the Suciu connection, the icy east coast climate + the emphasis on sharp lines + architecture in b-roll footage). To me, the new Alien Workshop stuff also has a kinda coffee-table feeling without as much of the bizarre paranoid energy of OG version.
Skating was incredible though and nice to see it showcased in such a solid way.
