God that was painful stuff.

So sick that Trahan is on Chocolate officially. Genuinely very excited for their new video. Such a solid team now!

I liked that video but I don’t think I would enjoy being somewhere that is hot, yet overcast.

I kinda like the idea. Minimal sunburn.

From the Vague Mag intro/article: ‘’ MARITIME is the new Sussex coast video from O.W.L (Orwellian World Landscape) to coincide with their accompanying article in issue 22 of Vague Mag. The video of course is brilliant from start to finish and features plenty of highly likeable heads such as: Louis Rose-Antoine, Rupert Rose-Antoine, Jimmy Silver, Jack Gorham, Al Hodgson, Dougie George, Henry Bailey, Cal Dawson, Ellis Gardiner, Dan Fisher-Eustance and Harrison Woolgar. This visual treat was filmed spectacularly by Al Hodgson.’’

Haha yeah I did just that!

Sicily is one of the best places I’ve ever been to but while I was there I saw absolutely nothing that made me think, “corrr, that looks good to skate,” and this edit just totally validated my opinion.

True, they are just kids.

However, it grinds my gears a bit that the majority of the next generation of filmers jump right in to this style with no real consideration of how to make a spot look, or give the viewer more of a chance to take in a trick by giving us a bit more room. They seem to just pick the nearest wall to stand on and punch the zoom rocker into oblivion.

You also rarely see fisheye clips, which I think is a shame.

TLDR: Zoom the fuck out a bit and stop shaking the camera like a cocktail mixer.

Agreed. I was so ready to be stunk out because it’s Almost and he wears a beanie in the summer but I was pleasantly surprised. Not a huge fan of his impossibles but most of the other stuff was great.

Both some stinking and incredible moves in this one. Bs flip manny back to regs was a little sus and I didn’t enjoy the filming on that last line. It was nice filming but not sure it belongs in a skate video. Just personal preference though.

PJ with no music destroying ledges and manny pads.

I feel like it’ll never get dull.

That was the most exciting Berrics clip I’ve seen in a long time.
