Gustav skating to midnight cowboy is so good. Yeah, great filming

Ah, I love these videos…and I’ve had Midnight Cowboy in a ‘to be used’ skate video playlist for a couple of years now. Never managed to make it work. It went so well in this!

Did not hate this:

Nyjah’s company go nuts in Miami.

Good skating but as an inaugural release (?) from a new brand it told me absolutely nothing about what Disorder is.
This could’ve been an Asphalt Yacht Club video from 5 years ago.

Ryan Lay-a-like Cariuma guy was good.
And I liked that other guy’s green Guess combats

Last few Nigel tricks were fucking nuts

I disagree.

Literally the opening five seconds (title sting and the briefest bit of audio) told me everything I needed to know about that company.

It’s the BoohooMan of skate brands.

I bailed on that Nyjah video. I did try.

That Becker guy is so good it’s such a shame he’s wearing those fucking shoes.

I actually don’t understand how it is possible!

Totally. I LOVE lines filmed from the front. I was about to start a thread about it then realised I can’t think of any other examples.

PJ had a couple

I don’t know much about this Eli Williams guy, saw him at Tampa and in Mano A Mano and thought he was a tranny/park guy but he’s a proper ATV with a sick style. The song in this section is not my cuppa but his skating is really proper.

Think he had some in his NB part?

He filmed some front on lines with dr purple teeth, but we don’t talk about those because they looked awful

I know what you mean but what did you want?

Nigel still amazing. I thought that was really dope.

Polar/ Pontus vids have loads of stuff filmed from the front

Can’t remember the interview but there’s one where he talks about it being a conscious effort to film stuff from the front as the skater’s foot positioning isn’t as clear which makes the footage more surprising/exciting. Always stuck with me.

Great just found myself in youtube hole for how to play midnight cowboy on harmonica

Video was good and that music went amazingly but some of the quick pans that were done during the filming were so jarring. That hardflip and a handrail trick (can’t remember exactly what) but as a viewer I completely lost orientation halfway through the trick.
