Primitive have one of the best teams around right now, the London demo was amazing.
10 years ago I couldn’t have cared less about P Rods skating really, he was almost too good so his skating looked really rehearsed, robot syndrome, now I find myself giving an audible “Och!” at the way he popped out of a Switch Back Smith and really enjoying all the video content from his brand, while not really caring about video from AVE’s brand, my mind doesn’t know what the fuck is going on!

Although I’ll never buy a primitive board as the graphics are very poor, the team is just incredible. Prod, Wade, Tiago, JB…actually doesn’t get better than that. I love it.

Yeah, Primitive as a brand is kinda not even there but if it brings me footage of these individuals regularly i’m backing it even if it’s not “cool”
Clothing shouldn’t spoil a skater or a section but it can often distract to the point of doing just that. I have not liked or disregarded many skaters output based on music/clothing/attitude even if the skating could have been next level.
However, getting to my point, I only just noticed Ronnie Sandoval’s t shirt tucking in that raw clips vid above and to be honest I don’t like it at all, but! I hadn’t noticed it at all in his actual part. His gnarlyness surpassed anything that could have caught my eye and distracted me. His tuck still does not bother me because it plays a miniscule part in the overall impact of his footage. I would like there to be a graph of how much you can get away with getup wise based on your overall skill/gnarlyness and general watchability.
Anyone game for such a task? Les?
You can wear whatever you want, and do whatever tricks you want. It’s up to the grumpy old men whether they watch your footage or not.

Yeah, you’re absolutely right and I don’t want something so flimsy to affect my opinion but it can and it does. It’s anyones perogative to like or dislike anything anyone does based on anything no matter how ridic the reason.
Primitive is definitely one of the best teams out.
A lot of sick teams have older guys bringing them down a level…like Girl/Creature…but Primitive’s older guy is JB.
