A bit ‘4 year old draws a Duffs’?

Why do all the proportions look so…off?

It’s like those trainers you want as a kid but your ma says ‘ah but we got these’ that are way cheaper and they’re just absolute clonkers.

Difference is, look at those price tags.

Are they actual kids’ sizes they’ve photo’d? Everything looks weird…

Is that the new Last Resort catalogue?

Used to see a lot of those Velcro ones down the oap home when my grandma was still alive.

Edit - £120! Lol

Powered by Shopify…

Even Louis Vuitton use Shopify these days.

Do they leave the Powered by Shopify tagline down at the bottom of the website?
Pretty sure they have a contact page, about, history, etc.

LV can afford the enterprise version.

New Habitat video. Not watched yet but 18 minutes long.

Edit: some of the new ams have some sick stuff in this. Pretty mellow vibes overall as you would expect.

Very pleasant viewing, too many highlights to mention but I probably enjoyed Cossa the most of the newer chaps. Great mix of spots in that too.

Amazing looking spots. Lots of new names to take in and a lot of the tricks are really good…but I cannot believe Joe Castrucci edited that.

Have I missed something? Has all his stuff of late been this bland?

I wouldn’t have wanted it edited differently; let the skating do most of the work and it was all filmed very well.

Yes, the consensus around the previous Habit edit from a few months ago was that it was really forgettable.

This one had more to it but they perhaps owe it to the new ams to make it a little more exciting. Rommel Torres in particular is really good, it would be a shame if he too was forgotten about because he rides for Habitat.

But then, there is room in skateboarding for slightly slower-paced edits. Maybe we shouldn’t just pander to our low-attention span, constant-stimulation minds.

EVERYTHING is forgettable to be honest, unless it’s not… hmmm, ha!

I mean, edit’s with numerous skaters are forgettable, they all merge for me as I can’t be arsed to remember the “filmer” or creator’s name because I don’t feel that many edits warrant people putting their name to. (sounds harsh but it feels like they want kudos for their efforts and to build up a name for themselves but the level of work isn’t there for that. People who have a name in that regard have done projects that warrant their name being remembered for)
Things I remember are individual parts and edits that seem to have a decent amount of effort put into or have a good aesthetic (Tightbooth comes to mind)
Not that I don’t enjoy basic edits, I do, just I watch, enjoy, move on and forget.

Death, taxes and whinging about filming.

If you don’t moan, they keep doing it.
See if you can stop moaning about the tories?

It’s funny how skateboarding goes. ESG are so played out at this point. Moody must have been used in so many edits (not that it isn’t a good song and ESG aren’t a great band). In contrast, one of the most daring and head-turning (ear-turning?) song choices in recent years has been… Natalie Imbruglia!

I still listen to the Shrimp Blunt Spotify playlist about five times a week.
