The Continually Updated Footage Thread

After a 540 most tricks just turn into the equivalent of looking like Rodney spinning in an endless circle for me personally.

It’s a shame no-one cares that tiny kids are doing fakie 12,000s now I guess? The 900 was a mythical trick that was chased and thought unlandable for so long that it’ll always stay special, when it was first landed, where as anything after is a bit whatevs…

The other cool thing about Hawk doing the 900 was that he’s massive.

If someone like that spins like a madman again it might be interesting but watching the foetuses twirl is not for me clive

And it was on live TV, on the X-games for a best trick contest. That context was pretty cool, no matter your opinion on contests like that or SLS, and it was the tipping point to really push skating into a very successful 10-15 year stretch.

Very rad adidas edit. Mainly Japanese riders - Japanese Super Rat, Momiji etc. - but Silas, Heitor and others have good clips.

New Brad Haze Muska 411 compilation.

Never realized how INSANE the ollie at 3:23 is. Love how he flies away kinda out of control because he’s going way too fast on the funbox he rides into after that.

Looks like he’s hanging out of his arse but still skates better than I ever will.

PS. Unpopular opinion but I think the birdhouse logo is actually quite a sick graphic. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia

Lovely scene vid (apparently supported by various skater owned shops, Orchard, Seasons and Plush) from the Upstate NY/Boston area. Loads of tricks filmed on grimy spots, during winter, with snow or puddles around, which I really liked. The last kid is really good.

I wanted to like it, but that filming really threw me out of it. All of the fisheye shots made me feel like my eyes were being yanked up and down.
