Not familiar with this kid, but he’s killing it. Blunt slide on a huge rail with his arm in a cast!? Some tricks, like the gap varial heel, were giving me Girl era P Rod vibes. Good song fit too - surprisingly well put together part.
Seeing him in the PSL stuff, he seems like a total skate rat.
Whilst not to my personal taste, I think skateboarding probably needs more limelight on kids like this. Seems mad that the average age of pros now appears to be very late 20s and beyond and we expect kids to be inspired by that.
That was a real positive of PSL, it provided a showcase for a bunch of very talented young/underexposed skaters who would not have gotten much sine otherwise.
There was one comp I was mc’ing and it was a tie for first, he was on last run and needed to nail it to win. Came down to the absolute wire - bell went when he had just got into I think a feeble on a driveway flatbar…and he flipped it out at the end and made it. Was really the most nail biting end to a final as no one knew who he was and it was last trick on last run etc etc. Sounds cheesy but was magic. Chatted to him a bit, seemed like a good kid and yeah, skate rat
James’s redemption arc is life-affirming and this is great.
Yes 2 tricks Pat!
Good crew, spent a bit of time skating with James and the lads over the winter ![]()
big up Jimmy and the boys!
That made me proper home sick for Birmingham. Hitting all the city centre spots during peak time too.
He’s only really got one trick
That’s the joke ![]()
That’s the quote actually ![]()

Nice HK edit. Good theme.
Hard going if I’m honest. Just about pulled it
Keep right on to the end of the road,
Keep right on to the end.
Though the way be long,
Let your heart beat strong,
Keep right on to the end.
Though you’re tired and weary,
Still journey on,
‘Til you come to your happy abode,
Where all the love,
you’ve been dreaming of,
Will be there.
Where?
At the end of the road.
Birmingham! Birmingham!
