RE Griffin. Improvement but still a long way to go
The filming is tough to watch which is a shame because you really need to focus on the stuff he’s doing to appreciate it
Yeah. He really deserves a Stacey Peralta type makeover. There just isn’t the industry to support it. For me though if you ignore the current bourgeous sponsorship status quo he’s next in line to Rodney Mullen as far as innovation with the 1000 tricks thing. Mike Ternasky would have a field day with him in 1992. I like to look past filming techniques.
Absolutely. He can genuinely do anything. Wouldnt be shocked if he released a rail part or a transition part that would also blow people’s minds. Seems to have it all clocked. Shame he has absolutely horrendous sponsors because he can clearly do “normal stylish” skating well alongside the Hail-Mary-kick-it-and-hope looking stuff.
He’s be a shoe in for 90s Plan B
Yeah. Could definitely do a mctwist
Or 2000s Osiris
I expected him to be on Flip some years ago
After watching it I did think in another life, with better guidance he could have dropped a PJ Ladd style part.
He doesn’t seem that arsed either way, which makes him more of a legend in my book
Guess you’re not going to get too much more from a bearings sponsor part, loved it all anyway.
Nod to the 99 chocolate promo?
I thought SKF had a laughable rep for making dungeon level b-roll skate videos? Or am I misremembering
FKD bearings?
Chris has been on a tear the last year or so.
Love that he skates gnarly, crusty stuff and stomps it all but still has this air of being an Everyman, like some of it shouldn’t quite be attainable but he manages to hold on and ride it out
Yep my bad
Jordan Thackeray and TP cameos, plus a timely Prince gem
the nollie to switch crook over the hip Wes does at the end was so nice. A special one
