Whole thing was great to be honest, you should watch it all. Minimal meh. Not a fan of Spears either but you can see the influence of Suciu on a few skaters. Niels Bennet is very Suciu in style even if he is not an influence, he’s going to be unreal in a couple of years I reckon.
I have said it before and it’s very controversial but I am a fan of Felipe Gustavo. He was the worst for ages but he’s ripened into a real stylish dude. I know, so weird. Gustav T, my god, that dude is beautiful.

I do miss when adidas has a more coherent team though, when it was led by the likes of
Busenitz and Silas and they were doing those city-based edits. Now the team’s massive and you have Donta Hill, lil Dre, Jenn Soto, even MJ who are all a bit whatever. A bigger team make the edits a bit bewildering.
And I know that I want to watch a Gustav part over any of the others.
All that said, this was way better than Away Days. That video sunk so fast…

RVCA vid. The thing is bizarre. Rubbish music, and the thing as a whole has no soul. Zach Allen, Julian Davidson and those guys are uninteresting as usual but I was stoked on the footage of Suciu and Reynolds in Morocco, that was pretty rad. Curren Caples had good shit too.
I think Reynolds’ bit starts at 6.30 or 7.00ish and Suciu’s at 20.00ish. Maybe.
Still don’t understand that Switch Flip… his wheels hit the mud, it’s out of an 10 inch bank, I don’t think anyone else could do it. I was impressed with the Ollie/Wallie up it!
I think I’m going to do something I’ve not done in a while and specifically buy a skateboard because it has his name on it… hope adidas are paying him well!

Seems like there’s been a few company videos that are a bit bland recently. Like they’re just there to collect together the footage and have it run on a silent loop on the wall of some Active mall shop.
