Arrived at Heathrow at 5 this morning from Sydney managed to watch game before jet lag kicked in and hit the wall. Am only now having stoked beers! Not exactly the most patriotic SA you’ll ever find but it’s nice to see some sort of national unity in these situations even if it’s somewhat fleeting.
I think England put all their eggs in the semi basket and were perhaps expecting that annoying faf kicking shit all game - but they actually decided to play some normal stuff for once. Fun game.

Top of my head awards.
Team of the tournament - Japan. Amazing. Leapt from a tier 2 to a tier 1 if not officially, unofficially. They were mesmerising at times and played the sexiest rugby out of everyone.
Game of the tournament - France Argentina was good. Wales Australia was amazing. I missed the Uruguay Fiji game. Japan Scotland was incredible. The best quality game though has to be SA v NZ in the groups. I feel a few England fans seem to have forgotten how the Boks played in that game.
Player of the tournament - between five for me. You have josh Adams with 7 tries. Tom curry and Sam Underhill were outstanding. It’s between Kolbe and Matsushima though.
Seeing as he got a try in the final I’d give it to Kolbe. The reincarnation of Shane Williams. Matsushima announced himself though to everyone. He was incredible.
Try of the tournament - hard to remember them all but I think NZs second against the a blacks in the opener was incredible wasn’t it. I’ll try and find it later to remember it.

Same here! It was a great tournament though I have to agree, there’s been so many good games it’s hard to pick favourite even with that England victory against the AB’s!
