I have seen The Simpson’s actually. Haha. Thanks all. Haven’t watched any of those but I started watching Young Sheldon with my kids and quite enjoy it so it got me thinking!

i will always maintain that how i met your mother is the spiritual successor to friends and wouldn’t exist without it. the way comedy evolved from the 90s into the 00s tracks with the different humour etc

it’s interesting how non-pc and awful so many of these shows are by 2023 social standards. does highlight how far western society has come in the last 20 to 30 years. barney stinson is one of funniest people in the show but if you put a character like that in a modern show people would lose their shit
also, i’m sure this will anger many of you, but i don’t understand how you can rate a show like seinfeld or fraiser yet hate on friends (it’s come up on here before). sometimes i think y’all just too cool for school etc
