I’ve been watching that, watched the first couple of episodes. Slow burner but I like being able to see the story from both sides

Anyone watching Black Rabbit on Netflix? The two main characters are so unlikeable I’m pretty much hate watching it now

Yeah, they’re horrible, rooting for the gangsters and for his shitty restaurant to go bust.

Got to episode 4 and I’m pretty sure I’ve given up on it.

I’ve really been enjoying it, though I’ve found it increasingly difficult to watch because it’s just a serious of escalating bad decisions.

I think Jude Law’s charisma and Jason Bateman’s general likability make the brother’s life decisions more palatable though

Alien earth feels like it’s ended a bit too soon. I’ve enjoyed it, but would like everything to be tied up nicely.

Alien Earth feels like they sprint finished to series 2, bit of a disappointment to be honest

hold on, last nights was the last one?

I fell asleep watching it so need to watch it again tonight.

I agree with all that (sprint finish to s2, ended too soon) and I also agree with pretty much all the criticisms of it but I wasn’t disappointed at all

It was equal parts awesomely rad and stupidly bad, and I loved it all. Sometimes it was really good and really bad at the same time. And it had Ade Edmondson being truly nasty and very silly at the same time too.

Give me more of that crackers nonsense please. It’s just a wacky sci-fi horror with the added bonus of a couple of good ol’ xenomorph aliens popping up now and then, what’s not to like?

Watch them not do a second season now, the dicks

They show too much of the xenomorphs, it’s like having the shark in every scene of Jaws, leaping out the water and doing somersaults. It was better when they were lurking in dark smoky spaceship corridors and jumping out. But overall, glad the season exists and enjoyed it.

The main alien looked cheesy in isolation, like a suit. Mouth didn’t look as scary as oldschool aliens and it needed some moisturiser for it’s bald dome.

I am enjoying it’s sillyness though, took a few episodes for me to accept it. The eye thing is stupid but again, rad at the same time once you get over yourself.

Yep, agree with all that. Still loved it though.

Yeah it’s a man in a suit. Yeah it wasn’t moist enough. Yeah yeah yada yada yada.

This! And the Octopeye / Iris / Eyeleen is just rad. What it did at the end, on the beach, is just stupid, and also sooooo rad

Although, it makes sense that the alien was a bit dry. It’s been in a box and maybe standard jungle water is not the right kind of moisture. Maybe it’s got eczema or has intolerances to stuff.

It doesn’t sweat, due to trauma from the Falklands.

You’re getting your predators mixed up I think. Although both have queens for a mum.

Imagines a spoof series like The Crown with a cast of aliens

Probably be less horrified by phone sex between freaky aliens than Charles and Camilla.

Although I haven’t seen any of that bollocks.

They’re lizards anyway. Not much of a leap of imagination needed.

Maybe im getting mixed up but the Ade Edmonson character is implied that hes the synth he built at 6 right? So why would he then build the timothy olyphant character way more synthy and obviously robotlike?

Alien is like PJ Ladd footage. Its better dark and gloomy. It doesnt work in brilliant sunlight
