The TV Thread

I guess Youtube is TV now. I did watch this on TV at the time. My dude. Was so rubbish when he left us not long after this. I saw him live and it was like this, funniest comedian I’ve ever seen

Easy runnings rasta!

Got to the crack bit yet?

I saw him do stand up as various characters a while ago, was great.

Says his fave material he came up with is his tiger woods bit

Bit more Day appreciation. One of his best

For no good reason I started watching The Walking Dead from where I gave up on it. Jesus Christ, it always baffles me how this much money can get spent on something and yet there’s nobody in the room who feels able to point out where this might be some of the stupidest shit ever.

It is genuinely terrible and gets worse and worse.

They used to film a bit of the Fast Show in town.
As one of the production team was from here. Mainly Whitehouse’s Brilliant skit. You can just about see the old rareunit mini in the background sometimes. One night they had a load of vans kind of like the classic Winnebago style parked in the market square at night.
It was on my way home from the pub, like a drunk knob I knocked on one and I’m 80% sure in my drunken state that it was him who opened the door and told me to piss off. Which was the correct thing for him to do of course.

/not even a slightly cool story bro

I stayed with it up until the series after Rick leaves, which I didn’t even finish, and I was really forcing myself to watch it by that point.

I liked a lot of the initial Neagan stuff, but it really went downhill after s7 and dropped off a cliff after that

My ex used to obsessively watch it and I could never understand why, literally the same thing every episode. This is one of the myriad reasons we shouldn’t have had children together lol.

Brilliant. These people do exist

Yeah end of season 7 is where I’ve picked it up. I’d totally forgotten about Jesus and the king with his CGI tiger .

God it was so shit. Had completely blanked out the tiger. How many times can you find paradise, wait a bit, find out the oasis is actually full of shitbags, the people are actually monsters, overcome, repeat.

The peak of The Walking Dead was the first of the Telltale Games adaptations. Had me hooked from the first moment and I actually sobbed at the ending.

Anyone watching Euphoria S3?

No, but, erm, I’ve seen a lot of gifs on Reddit.

In all seriousness, is it worth watching from the start? Wife and I will be looking for something new to watch shortly and I heard good things of the first series.

Yes it’s brilliant. Season 3 is excellent so far

Am sure there’s loads of commentary on Reddit etc because there’s nudity and drugs and all sorts of mad shit going on but yeah it’s a very good show

Started Legends yesterday and loving it so far. Coogan is top drawer as always but Tom Burke steals the show. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed it. Coogan was brilliant and terrible, so hard to decide which. I ended up watching it as Alan Partridges first serious acting role. You’ll see why in one movement if you haven’t already.

As unreal as Mylonas as a character was, he was kinda endearing.
