Yeah. It’s usually just what I think is the liver or bladder?

It made one of my cats really ill because of a poisoned mouse/rat once in the city. Gotta watch that sometimes

I couldn’t have a pet that ate the local wildlife. My dog killed a hare once and now he wears a muzzle if we go to the woods.

Cats are essential in the city. My guy Sanchez passed away I’d not seen a mouse for years. Absolute lad. Then suddenly they’re running about when you’re having dinner with the kids.

I feel like I’m just starting to get my head round/understand the chronology of jazz finally in my fifties, but for years before this I’ve always bought things that have Joe Hendersons name on them. Not disappointed once

I’m a way of that yet I’d say - the understanding, not the age - there’s just so much of it out there …

That’s the beauty. Plenty of time and you can’t rush it if you wanted to

I could have written the same statement but swap Joe Henderson for Ron Carter

I understand people like cats but they kill tens of millions of birds in the uk each year. That’s not good. Maybe a collar with a bell on might protect the birds?
Maybe I’m a hypocrite because I’m a lifelong vegetarian and I feed my dog food with meat in, but I get upset at all the wildlife killed by cats.

I don’t know, reading that article all the way through seems suggest that they aren’t having a huge impact here in the UK and that orders to keep cats in elsewhere is mostly in response to specific concerns in certain areas.

I just asked my cat if he could kindly stop going where the fuck he wants.

He told me to fuck off.

With his eyes.

Meant as a joke, I’m sure, but it does raise interesting questions. Like, if birds eat lots of insects and worms, is it then OK to kill lots of birds, either directly or by adding to the population of cats, every one of which, in its lifetime, will kill lots of birds. Not to mention multiple small mammals. But maybe here isn’t the right forum to discuss it. It was just that picture you posted of the dismembered pigeon that got me.
