TOTM - 360 flip

Perhaps a bit self indulgent with a double submission here but seeing people throwing them over hips/flatbanks made me realize I’d never done a 360 flip on a flatbank. Got to my local for 1 and thought it’d be pretty easy since I have them down well on flat; queue my brain melting trying to figure it out for an eternity then finally rolling away from one an hour and a half later, only to look up and realize my phone had fell over and after checking the footage the fucker went down literally on the roll up to the one I landed. Set it back up despite running out of water half an hour prior, somehow got another one in the space of 5 minutes which was better than the first and my phone had for whatever reason locked itself. Used the little energy I had left to finally whittle another one out about 10 minutes later. Necking a litre of water never felt so good.

Yeah absolutely!

First skate since my son was born over a year ago! Used him wanting to climb on the ramps as an excuse. Took ages and smashed up my big toe but least I can still land one.

Yoooo! That’s sick. Have you done switch tre before or land it for the thread?

Thanks. It was rubbish but it was all I could get for this thread today. I think I learnt those in 1996. #dinosaursenior
I hadn’t tried one since filming one for a mini edit on Insta a year and a half ago I think.

What the fuck you learned switch tre in '96? That’s sick. I think that’s when I learned to 180 :joy:

I think that’s when I joined the Year 2 in primary school.

Well, I got my first proper setup for my 9th birthday in November 90 and from there for 6 or 7 years I pretty much skated every day during my lunch break and after school if the weather allowed it. Boards were tiny and easier to flip back then too.

Fair enough. In 1990 I was still riding boards sitting down. You’re only three years older than me I think too :joy:

I assumed you were older somehow

If I’d have landed a switch tre in 96 I’d be convinced I should be pro . Oh the joys and naivety of youth .

Sick that nearly 2 decades on and boom .
May have to try this weekend but will look more like I’m being tazerd at the same time
