I skipped it, because I was watching it while at work so consolidated the card down a bit. I’ll maybe catch up on it, because listening to Jack Slack’s podcast this morning it sounded like a close decision, one of those “to be the champ, you’ve got to beat the champ” type situations where unless it’s decisive the champion gets the nod.

It’s a match that’s so, so stupid it can’t help but be entertaining. Either Diaz gets flattened, which will be hilarious because he and his fanbase are insufferable, or a very obvious UFC-backed hype train gets derailed which would be equally hilarious. I really think whoever sanctioned it should be either sectioned or imprisoned but I can’t help but be thankful for it.

I’ve never seen a care improve by weight misses but I genuinely believe the revised card will yield better fights. Chimaev has really completed the fall-from-grace speed run this week.
