yeh, Brad is rad. His partner, Sam Cook, has just beaten cancer, so sure will see them both back competing soon. They habe a new club in Brum called Royal Jiu jitsu as well as teaching at Fearless.

General question for anybody here doing combat sports.
I do kickboxing and normal boxing once a week. It’s great fun, but I generally suck at it. Whenever we do light sparring, I’m always completely shit at slipping and rolling punches. All I can think of is how to avoid getting punched in the face, which never works as quite often, I get punched in the face. Any tips on speeding up my desperately slow thought process which sees nothing coming till it’s too late?

Iv never trained but why would you close your eyes? Is that throwing or getting hit?
