I think that’s the law. A legal requirement for a skate shop. Their name in the Thrasher font on clothing, and in Futura Bold Italic on stickers.

‘Pavement’ would certainly attract some more Stephen Malkmus fans.

pavement is a good name, but its pavemen who are still about.
although i said the same about consolidated at the time.

Personally I think having our own identity would be preferable to piggy backing off someone else’s existing identity.

In terms of the name, does it need to hit something skate related for SEO purposes or can that be dealt with in other ways?

Could be fun to play on the idea of a traditional English nerd hobby club. Something like the ‘UK skateboarding armchair critics society’?
