As is any substance that stimulates your opiate receptors. Kratom has a wide range of side effects, including withdrawal symptoms, and a real possibility of addiction. Probably best left alone.

Yeah, I remember looking into it but deciding to leave it well alone. It’s not really well studied. I had chronic headaches but didn’t want to take opioid agonists to relieve the pain.
