Sort of got into it with a taxi driver last night in Leeds. He had BBC YouTube playing and Harris came on screen and he started banging on about “Not knowing what fuck she’s on about” and how “She had no chance as she doesn’t know what she’s doing”. Deffo gave me the ‘women don’t belong in politics vibe’. Stinking.

Article by Daniel Finkelstein in the Times today about why a lot of second-generation Latino immigrants voted for Trump, despite all his comments about Mexicans and despite the stuff about Puerto Rico being a floating island of garbage.
He reckons it’s not despite Trump’s views on immigration but because of them. The attitude is, ‘we came here legally and they should too.’ He says that also explains people like Kemi Badenoch.

Never heard of him, but Wiki certainly suggests a wrong 'un.
He resigned from the senate with ‘immediate effect’. And lo and behold, the ethics committee were poised to release their results in 2 days time. Resigning puts him out of their umbrella of responsibility so they now have no case.
