not sure where youre going with that… - i put a bet on as i was confident that more of the US population would realise Trump was racist misongynist than not.
i wouldnt say happily chat! just so happens that on a group, mostly of skaters/exskaters, theres a couple of Trump supporters who I refuse to let put their shit forward without responding.

Yeah maybe but Trump or QAnon didn’t turn people into horrible shitheads, they already were. They just gave them an outlet.

I just think this will be a really hard thing to put back in the bottle. People aren’t going to accept that they’ll again need to keep their views to themselves or amongst their racist friends because society is now polite again. Then again maybe it’s better out in the open so that it forces people to defend their views and others to confront them. Perhaps it was necessary to truly move on.

Agree 100% with that. America needs to start taking some long overdue responsibility when it comes to the environment. I’m over the moon that Trump is gone just trying to manage my expectations.

I worry they’ll rely on all the people who got off their arses to vote for once forgetting about it all once it’s over and the threat seems to be gone. Trump’s had more votes than any presidential candidate ever* (apart from Biden obv) so they’ll spin it into a massive victory, except that they wos robbed.
*I kind of hate this sort of thing because it’s meaningless nowadays. “The most re-Tweets in the history of the world!!!”, all that stuff. Like Queen Victoria or Isaac Newton were big on Twitter or something. There are way more people now so more things happen more often.

I hope so, and I hope people don’t see it as the one time their vote actually matters. Because if you vote anyway, you can stop things like this happening in the first place…
