Yeah for sure for the first 75% of RDR2 I was blown away but once you’ve kind of seen everything (all the wild animals, random encounters etc.) it becomes a bit of a drag. Think it didn’t help that every mission just turned into a repetitive shoot out.
Can’t wait to play Elden Ring but felt I needed to actually finish Dark Souls first, given up on it a few times before but currently playing through it now and it’s finally clicked
Yeah it made sense from a story perspective but would’ve rather had it wrapped up more in some cut scenes rather than ‘Press X to hammer nail’ etc. Would’ve ,loved the game way more if they just had say 5 missions as John, the final mission was really good and felt like a perfect closing chapter.
I’ve not finished any of the other games and I never will, just don’t have the patience. I way prefer Elden Ring just because it’s a lot less linear. So any time you get to something that’s too annoying you can just go and do something else and come back later and stronger instead of dying twenty times in a row.
I was well over 100 hours on this including the expansion, pretty sure i got platinum too. I was fine with it, liked the world and story but ended up well overpowered in the mid game once I’d got recharging armour. Not for everyone and I ALWAYS fall into the trap of taking too long on these open world games and regretting it.
Am playing Forbidden West on PS5. Good fun and incredible graphics. Not massively blown away with it though. Its Zero Dawn remastered in many ways but some new moves and machines. Only 6 hours in so will finish and then sell it. Made a point to buy the disc to keep the resale market alive. You cant sell on the downloads! POWER TO THE PEOPLE
Probs doesn’t much to anyone in here but I have grinded to get this team on FUT without spending any extra money on the game for packs. So just rewards and dealings in the transfer market.
There’s anew snowboarding game on xbox called Shredders. I’ve been enjoying it, the controls are quite hard to learn but it does a good job with the physics. It’s a pretty relaxing game, good graphics.
Also, microsoft flight sim is on xcloud now, the cloud streaming service so I can play that on pc. Stoked the xcloud game pass gets me shredders and flight sim etc. on my pc which isn’t really a gaming setup.
