Do you know if the beta is available on the regular game pass?
I HATED BO6 (tiny maps, over the top movement, cartoon visuals), and I imagine this will probably be more of the same, but I’ll at least give it a go. Only playing if it’s on game pass though
Amazing game, I love this so much. Either beautiful, depressing, relaxing or fucking scary depending on your mood.
Enjoyed Firewatch too, kind a similar but more story less survival
I don’t know what the requisites are for the Beta, I didn’t think it would be available as I only have B06 through game pass and pre-installed 7 through that, no money has changed hands. I’m currently on GP Ultimate.
Reminds me of Advanced Warfare from a few years back, pretty sure there will be cloaking devices and whatnot soon enough
Yep, I Must have another run soon. It can feel very harsh too, had a handful of times where I’ve been set up well, then I’ve made a small error, ran into a moose or bear and that has caused lots of issues. The dam during the lights never ceases to give me the chills even though I know there isn’t really much to fear in there haha. One of my fave games for quite some time.
I also liked Death Stranding.
Ah ok. I paid for BO6 and I’m not making that mistake again this year (though the campaign was alright tbf), so if it’s not free on gamepass I guess I’m out.
Apparently next year will be a reset (rumoured to be mw4), so hopefully 2027 will have less ridiculous movement. I’m too old, I can’t compete anymore.

just finished second play through of TOTK on switch 2. All shrines and Lightroot completed. Am working through a tonne of side quests and upgrading all the armour sets.

Looking at making the switch from Xbeezy to PlayStation soon. Christmas present for the kid, but really it’s for me. Want to get a new console in time for the new GTA (if it ever comes out!) and to play some PS exclusive games like Last of Us. Personally I only play RDR2 and Fifa.
Back in my day i was on COD4 and MW2 constantly. Have no time for it now with the kids!

Has any here ever had a crack at trying to make a game using unreal engine or anything similar?
Toyed with some graphics and character design for the last year or so, inconsistently but think I’m going to give myself a 4 year limit to try and make something functional and put it out
I tried to make a SkaterXL map in unity.
I’m a software engineer/web developer by trade and it seemed so different to programming I’m used to in so many ways.
GTA delayed. Again.
Nothing to do with the sacking of 31 workers of course.
You’d think with the billions they make they could throw some money at them and keep them happy.
Wonder if they are having to adapt the game to be free then scrape billions in micro transactions for the next 15 years
